The Challenge
Operating in the crowded travel and tourism space, Daffodils Travel aimed to stand apart from generic travel agencies. The brand needed an identity that mirrored its promise — personalized journeys crafted with care.
Key challenges included:
- Lack of a unique visual identity and recall
- Inconsistent communication tone across platforms
- Difficulty conveying their premium yet approachable positioning

The Strategy
We approached the project with a consultancy-first mindset — beginning with in-depth research to understand audience behaviours, emotional triggers, and competitive landscape. We redefined Daffodils Travel’s positioning around “Tailored Journeys, Crafted Experiences” and built a brand story that celebrates exploration, comfort, and individuality. Through workshops with the founder and marketing team, we shaped a narrative that feels global in sophistication yet personal in tone — a brand for the modern explorer who values detail and discovery.
The Execution
The new identity revolves around a fluid ‘d’ symbol, inspired by the journey itself — looping like a travel route, forming a daffodil petal, and doubling as a location pin.
Key Design Elements:
- Logo: A bespoke wordmark featuring the fluid ‘d’ symbol as part of a bold and rounded custom serif typeface.
- Color Palette: Deep green and yellow — derived from nature, growth, and sunshine.
- Typography: A modern serif for elegance, balanced with sans-serif for clarity.
- Visual Language: Illustrated lines symbolising journeys, paired with vivid photography.
- Tone of Voice: Personal, warm, and rooted in experiential storytelling.
